Mickey and Tank both belong to my friend Cristy, who has been doing dog rescue work for more than twenty years, and has, at times, had as many as 20 dogs in her personal care. I can't begin to count the number of crazy camping trips we've had with the hounds, snuggled up 7 or 8 to a tent... Mickey, by the way, gives the lie to all the common prejudices against pitbulls--a sweeter dog never breathed. And Tank is merely inscrutable--he's always reminded me of Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver.

Actual size of this painting is about 16" x 14." This is a good example of how different photos can be combined to place multiple subjects in a single portrait. A custom painting like this would cost about $165.
